Katie Sugden will have a gun held to her head in tonight's (17.02.11) explosive episode of 'Emmerdale' as evil boyfriend Nick Henshall holds her hostage
Katie Sugden will have a gun held to her head in tonight's (17.02.11) explosive episode of 'Emmerdale'.
The horse stable manager will discover the shocking truth that her boyfriend Nick Henshall was responsible for the burglary and arson attack on her home shortly before the evil policeman takes her hostage.
Katie - played by Sammy Winward - begs him to let her go, saying if he loved her he would set her free, but her pleas fall on deaf ears and he ends up holding a gun to her head.
As the drama unfolds, Nick's house is surrounded by police and Katie's terrified ex-husband Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) - who Nick (Michael McKeel) had been trying to frame for his own crimes - can only look on as a shot is fired, with viewers left wondering about the fate of the blonde beauty.
Sammy has previously admitted filming the hostage scenes have been some of the most difficult to date.
She said: "The siege has been the most intense thing I've ever done.
"There's been a lot of crying and screaming. I was bruised from head to toe. Katie always picks the wrong guy. Henshall seemed a perfect fella. It's a shame he's a psycho."
