Sainsbury's celebrates the sale of its millionth Red Nose by delivering thousands more to its largest UK store in Crayford, London, in the world's largest shopping trolley.

Elen Rivas has taken delivery of a giant trolley filled with red noses to celebrate record-breaking sales of the Comic Relief symbol.

The 36-year-old Spanish model - who is currently dating Peter Andre - travelled alongside the world's biggest shopping trolley to a London branch of Sainsbury's to help restock supplies after the chain sold over one million charity red noses in just two weeks.

She explained: "It's fantastic to be involved, as I'm a long term supporter of Comic Relief and the fantastic work they do. I visited South Africa last year to experience the reality of living in some of the most deprived neighbourhoods and since then, I've wanted to do as much as I can to help.

"Red Nose Day is all about doing something funny for money. By helping Sainsbury's to deliver extra supplies to their Crayford store in this massive trolley I've hopefully raised a few smiles, and reminded people that buying a Red Nose is one of the simplest ways to donate."

The former 'Dancing on Ice' contestant - who was voted off the ITV1 show in the first week of the competition - is just one of many celebrities who are helping to raise money for vulnerable people in Africa and the UK this year for Comic Relief.

David Walliams and wife Lara Stone have got involved in the campaign, alongside a whole host of stars including John Cleese, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, David Tennant and Alexandra Burke.

Over eight million noses are expected to be purchased between now and Red Nose Day, with at least 70p from each £1 sale going directly to Comic Relief.
