Coronation Street's Audrey Roberts is terrified she is going to be sent to prison for murder.
The salon boss - played by Sue Nicholls - is horrified when pensioner Enid Crump (June Broughton) drops dead in her hairdressing chair in the Weatherfield beauty parlour and Audrey is scared police will suspect her.
Before her sudden death, Enid is seen tucking into her favourite bourbon biscuits and praising Audrey's grandson, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), for his hairdressing skills.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, she says: "Isn't David wonderful at washing hair? I'd never let anyone else wash my hair since he did it."
Just minutes later, Emily Bishop (Eileen Derbyshire) asks Enid if she could have a biscuit, but to her horror, Enid is dead.
An ambulance quickly arrives on the scene but paramedics are unable to revive the elderly customer and Audrey - who puts the tragedy down to a faulty hairdryer - then faces an anxious wait to find out exactly how she passed away.
The scenes in the ITV1 soap will be shown over the coming weeks.
