Kym Marsh would love a cameo role in 'Shameless'.

The 'Coronation Street' star - who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV1 soap - is enjoying spending Tuesday nights at home with fiance Jaime Lomas because Channel 4 screen her two current favourite shows, the Manchester-based drama series and reality TV show 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding'.

Kym wrote in her column for new! magazine: "I'm hooked on 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding'! It's compulsive viewing. It's certainly not a bed of roses for the travellers featured, and it was distressing to watch them having their homes wrecked.

"However, the wedding dresses they wear are not to my taste and I was disturbed to see the little girls dressed in skimpy clothes and gyrating on the dance floor.

"I love Tuesday evenings now as, straight after it, 'Shameless' is on. Now that's a show I'd love to do a cameo on!

Kym is currently pregnant with her third child and, having been granted early maternity leave by 'Coronation Street' chiefs, is enjoying her time off by catching up on all her favourite TV shows.

Speaking about ITV1's 'Dancing On Ice' she said: "My loyalties are now split between Vanilla Ice, my good friend Denise Welch and Jen Metcalfe, who plays 'Hollyoaks' Mercedes McQueen. Not only is she a lovely, unaffected girl, she's gorgeous, too - it's just not fair!"
