Adrian Chiles 'repelled' by his looks

Adrian Chiles refuses to watch 'Daybreak' because he is "repelled" by his own face.
The 43-year-old TV presenter - who co-hosts the ITV1 breakfast programme alongside brunette beauty Christine Bleakley - admitted he was forced to watch himself on the small screen for the first time when the troubled show's viewing figures dipped to 500,000.
He said: "I still don't like to look at myself in the monitor. I literally can't bear the sight of myself. I'm not fishing for compliments. I find the sight of myself just repellent.
"About a month in, when we were getting really panned, she said, 'Look, we've got to just go and sit and watch it'. So I cooked and she came to my place and I was dreading it. I'd have less dreaded two hours with the dentist that evening."
However, Adrian - who signed a £6 million deal to quit the BBC to present 'Daybreak' in September - confessed he has struggled to cope with the criticism that has dogged the show since it was first launched.
He added to Radio Times magazine: "You're up at 3.45am reading in all the papers - not now so much - about how you're useless, your co-presenter is a s*****r, the programme's s**t, and your whole life's a disaster. You've got to deal with that stuff.
"Hand on my heart, I don't regret leaving ... I've moved on."
