Got To Dance winner to pocket 250k
The winner of this year's series of 'Got To Dance' will take home £250,000 prize money
The winner of 'Got To Dance' will receive £250,000.
The prize - which has seen 2,300 dance acts auditioning to try and claim it - is a huge increase from last year's amount of £100,000.
During the audition stage a total of 200 acts made it through, with 28 chosen to perform in the four live semi-finals in front of judges Adam Garcia, Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo and former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt.
Adam - who starred in 'Coyote Ugly' - is certainly enjoying his position on the Sky1 programme, which returns to screens on Saturday January 2, and admits sometimes he can't stop himself from checking out all the beautiful women dancers.
He said: "I fancied some of the girls. We had a lot of pole dancers - generally they are not wearing very much and doing something relatively provocative.
"There are some really great all-girl dance groups - especially one called Cabaret Rouge who were very sexy."
However, Adam didn't let his libido affect his judgement when he was putting acts through the auditions.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It does influence me when I fancy the dancers, but more in a negative effect. If they're just OK dancers and I put them through to the next stage, it's going to look like I liked their bodies. So if they are not outstanding then it actually goes against them.
"Otherwise it looks like I'm a chauvinist pig, and I'm not trying to look like one!"
