'Teacher's pet' Cheryl Cole
Cheryl Cole has been slammed by fellow 'X Factor' judge Louis Walsh for being a ''teacher's pet'' to Simon Cowell.
Louis Walsh has slammed Cheryl Cole for being a "teacher's pet".
The Irish music expert - who appears alongside the 'Promise This' singer on the 'X Factor' judging panel - admitted her and Simon Cowell tend to cosy up to one another, and have the same opinions on many of the acts appearing on the ITV1 show.
He explained: "You know what it's like. We're all in competition and want to win. If Cheryl says 'black is white', Simon says 'black is white'. She's like teacher's pet on the show. Cheryl says anything, Simon just nods. Teacher's pet, absolutely."
Meanwhile, the judge - who mentored Mary Byrne, Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho, John Adeleye and Storm Lee on this year's show - praised "independent" Dannii Minogue for her work on the series, which saw her act Matt Cardle score the Christmas number one single last night (19.12.10).
Louis added to ITV1's 'Lorraine': "Dannii worked really hard this year. She was very independent and she had the winner."
