'Coronation Street' actress Katherine Kelly admits she feels ''blessed'' to portray complex character Becky McDonald in the ITV1 soap.
Katherine Kelly feels "blessed" by her 'Coronation Street' character.
The 31-year-old actress - who plays bolshie barmaid Becky McDonald in the ITV1 soap - insists she has no plans to leave the show because her alter ego has so many different sides to her personality.
She said: "I've played the same girl for four years but Becky's got so many different sides to her it's like a load of roles all in one anyway.
"Becky's got a heart of gold and viewers love her even when she's bad. I'm blessed to be able to play such a complex character."
The blonde star loves her feisty character but admits she feels sorry for Simon Gregson - who plays Becky's husband Steve McDonald - because he bears the brunt of her alter ego's rages.
She added: "I love the challenge. If anything it's Simon who must find it hard when I have to scream at him all day."
