Anne Widdecombe is set to perform her most acrobatic routine on 'Strictly Come Dancing' tonight (04.12.10).
The former politician and her partner Anton du Beke are planning to include four lifts in their Hollywood Smooth routine, which they will perform to the song 'Hello Dolly'.
Anne, 63, said: "I'm limbering up with ballet stretches and hamstring warm-ups. I know nothing of the American Smooth except I must do three lifts. But if we want to do four, we will."
Anton, 44, added: "I'm doing press-ups in anticipation for our most spectacular dance routine ever. It's more lifts, less steps."
Viewers will see fan favourite Anne wear a gold sequin dress and a headdress for the performance.
Meanwhile, contestant Matt Baker has revealed he is going to attempt the most dangerous stunt ever performed on the BBC One series.
The gymnast - who dances with professional partner Aliona Vilani - said: "I'm going to somersault off the judges' desk and over the stairs. Then I'll turn back as I land on the dancefloor. It's the most crazy, dangerous thing ever on 'Strictly...' and the judges will get a good view of it."
