Jason Manford could be fronting a new TV series just weeks after he quit 'The One Show'.
The married 29-year-old comedian - who sensationally quit the BBC One programme after confessing to exchanging saucy internet messages with a string of women - has reportedly been offered the job of hosting ITV show 'Comedy Rocks'.
After fronting a successful pilot for the series - which is a mixture of comedy and live music - earlier in the year, show bosses approached the funnyman to offer him a position on the Friday night show.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Jason's had a lot of embarrassing problems but he is a huge talent. It was right he quit 'The One Show' because it was family entertainment, but this is a bit naughtier.
"It's a much better fit for him."
The comic - who is expecting his third child with wife Catherine - recently admitted he was an "a***hole" for jeopardising his marriage and career.
He said: "If I was reading this about someone else, I'd think, 'What an a***hole. How can he look at himself in the mirror?' There were ten or 12 people flirting and then with a few it went over the line.
"We would start off flirty, then innuendo and then a bit saucy. There were moments when I thought, 'I shouldn't be saying that'."
