Mat Horne hopes for James Corden collaboration
'Gavin and Stacey' star Mat Horne has revealed he is hopeful to work alongside former co-star James Corden on a new comedy project in the future.
Mat Horne is hopeful he will work with James Corden again.
The former 'Gavin and Stacey' co-stars were rumoured to have fallen out after they called time on their comedy partnership last year, but the actor insists the pair just agreed to take a break after their sketch show 'Horne & Corden' was panned and their movie 'Lesbian Vampire Killers' flopped.
Mat said: "I hope we'll work together again. It was important for us not to do anything together for a while just because of all the horrible stuff that happened to us last year.
"I wanted to continue acting whereas he wanted to do his quiz show stuff, so it was natural that we wouldn't work together for a bit."
The 32-year-old star also admitted he has had little contact with many of his 'Gavin and Stacey' co-stars since the comedy ended last year.
He added: "I saw James a couple of weeks ago and I saw Ruth Jones about two months ago but I haven't seen Rob Brydon or Larry Lamb for ages. Everyone's busy, so it's difficult."
