Gillian McKeith conquered her fears on last night's (23.11.10) 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!'
The TV nutritionist - who fainted live on the ITV1 show on Sunday night (21.11.10) - successfully completed the Fisherman's Fiend task alongside comedian Dom Joly, winning a combined total of 11 meals for their campmates.
Despite previously claiming she was terrified of water and unable to swim, Gillian plunged underwater and dove down to retrieve one of the stars, while being surrounded by a whole host of aquatic critters.
However, the trial wasn't without its dramas, as Gillian claimed at one stage she felt like she was drowning.
She yelped: "Oh my God, I'm going to drown."
It may have been the food expert's success in the trial was down to the no-nonsense attitude of Dom, who threatened to "kick" the star if she behaved like a "wuss".
Prior to the trial, he said: "I'm going to be totally kind until she does the usual wussy stuff. If she faints again I'll kick her."
Last night's (23.11.10) 'I'm A Celeb...' also saw Gillian reduce former 'X Factor' finalist Stacey Solomon to tears after the 21-year-old singer said the TV star should leave the camp if she wasn't prepared to face her fears.
Gillian retorted: "You're the classic person who doesn't understand what a fear is versus a phobia. You don't understand phobia, it's like taking a person who can't swim and throwing them in 10 feet of water and saying, 'Off you go, see if you can swim'."
