'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here's Gillian McKeith has been branded "nuts" after claiming she was pregnant in a bid to get out of Jungle Jail.
The 51-year-old TV nutritionist - whose behaviour has become increasingly erratic after being voted by viewers to compete in eight consecutive Bushtucker Trials - also told fellow campmates she has been hearing voices and thought she had rabies after being ordered behind bars as punishment for refusing to pick up creepy-crawlies in the Kangaroo Court challenge.
A show insider told The Sun newspaper: "When Gillian went back to the jungle jail she went nuts. It was quite scary."
Fellow contestant and former MP Lemibt Opik also voiced his concerns, saying: "Gillian's level of ailments have increased and she has been hearing voices. She is very weak and frail at the moment."
Gillian has now been ruled out of taking part in more challenges by the show's bosses, who are reportedly not only worried for her, but also upset with her lacklustre attempts at them.
She has so far refused to take part in one challenge and complained, squirmed and quit halfway through others.
As she has repeatedly failed in her challenges, she has won little food for the rest of the camp to eat, leaving them also disgruntled.
Yesterday former 'X Factor' contestant Stacey Solomon told her: "If you're so afraid and have so many phobias and are ill over it, you should go. There's nothing keeping you here. Honestly, Gill, if your phobia is that intense and that bad and you're having to get up and deal with it every day. It's hard for us to hear it as well."
Stacey and rapper Aggro Santos have been picked to compete in tonight's Bushtucker Trial, called Super Scary-O.
It will see them try to win stars for the camp by releasing balloons from a platform above the jungle.
