Nigel Havers has sensationally quit 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'
The former 'Coronation Street' actor walked out of the camp just hours after nutritionist Gillian McKeith's dramatic collapse on live television as he had grown tired of life in the jungle and some of his fellow contestants.
An insider said: "Nigel just said he'd had enough and it wasn't what he thought it would be like.
"He said he was fed up with the inane chatter from some of the others and just wanted to go home."
Although Nigel had grown close to Shaun Ryder, he found it hard to bond with his other campmates, especially politician Lembit Opik.
While he has now officially quit, he had previously threatened to walk out during a kangaroo court task when he found out he would be given electric shocks.
He told producers: "I don't do electric shocks."
However, he was persuaded to rejoin the game and after the live TV trial - which was eventually done by Linford Christie following Gillian's collapse - went back into camp.
Nigel is the first celebrity to quit although Gillian and Shaun have both threatened to walk.
