Paije Richardson thinks he is proving Simon Cowell wrong by consistently keeping out of the 'X Factor' bottom two.
The 20-year-old hopeful - who was told by the music mogul that he has "zero chance of winning" the ITV1 show - admitted while he was happy to prove the judge wrong, he was "shocked" to see Aiden Grimshaw in the bottom two on Sunday night (13.11.10).
Paije explained: "I thought I was definitely in the bottom two and thought, 'Right OK, this is the moment when I'm gonna have to fight for my place', then it was just like, whaaat?! It was the biggest shock!
"It basically says to people like Simon, who say I have zero chance of winning, that it's not always what it seems."
The bubbly singer also revealed the despite Simon's negative comments, he is "living the dream" by appearing on 'The X Factor'.
He added: "I'm sort of living my dream. I know it sounds a bit cheesy, but I'm doing what I want to do. This is what I've always wanted to do. This is what I feel I'm best at and it's where I want to be!"
