Kym Marsh wants Jamie Lomas to star in 'Coronation Street'.
The 34-year-old actress - who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV1 soap - has revealed she would like her fiance to ditch his current role as 'Hollyoaks' bad boy Warren Fox and play a Weatherfield villain instead.
She said: "Being in 'Coronation Street' has changed my life. I'd love Jamie to be in it too. He'd be a great 'Corrie' baddie."
Meanwhile, Kate Ford - who plays the Street's resident bad girl Tracy Barlow - admitted when she was a child she wrote to the ITV1 soap's producers to ask if she could be given a part as an extra.
She added to Hello! magazine: "When I was at school I wrote a letter asking to be in it and I got a part as an extra. I've always loved it and it's momentous to be part of the anniversary celebrations."
Kate -whose alter-ego was imprisoned for life in 2007 for the murder of her ex-boyfriend Charlie Stubbs - is due to return to the cobbles as part of Coronation Street's 50th anniversary celebrations in a storyline that is rumoured to see her kidnap her daughter Amy.
