Alex Reid lands TV show
Alex Reid has landed his own TV show on Living, which will follow the 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner as he decides what to do with his career.
Alex Reid has landed his own TV show.
The cage-fighter - who is married to former glamour model Katie Price - has signed a deal with Living to make a two-part documentary about his life, entitled 'I Am Alex Reid', which will be produced by his wife's production company Pricey Media.
The show will follow the 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner as he decides what to do with his career.
While Alex, 35, has signed a deal with Living, Katie's ex-husband Peter Andre has also landed a multi-year contract to keep his reality series on ITV2, and TV insiders have suggested the pair are likely to be competing against one another for ratings.
One said: "Their shows will be remarkably similar so it will be all guns blazing to see who will do best."
As well as appearing in his reality series, Peter will also front another show, although bosses are keeping that one under wraps.
Katie left ITV this year for a £5 million deal with Living and was keen to take her second husband with her.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Now Katie's left ITV she's made it her business to take Alex with her - pitting her and Alex against ITV and Pete."
