'Unlikeable' Cher Lloyd
Louis Walsh believes Cher Lloyd has ''no likeability'' and admits he couldn't work with the 17-year-old hopeful because of her ever-increasing ego.
Louis Walsh thinks Cher Lloyd has "no likeability".
The 'X Factor' judge - who is mentoring Mary Byrne and wildcard Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho in this year's competition - admitted he wouldn't be able to work with the 17-year-old hopeful as her ego has grown too big over the course of the ITV1 show.
He explained: "I couldn't work with Cher. She thinks she's going to be an overnight success, and because she listens to American R&B she's picked up all these weird musical things and makes funny faces. There's no likeability there.
"Some of the contestants think they're famous already, but they haven't put in any of the work. I do agree with Elton John that you have to earn it.
"Cher is believing her own publicity, which is a big mistake. She's definitely changed. I don't get any warmth from her. She needs to learn to be nice to everybody - because you'll meet them on the way down."
The Irish judge also slammed Cher's mentor Cheryl Cole for neglecting her other acts - Rebecca Ferguson, Katie Waissel and evictee Treyc Cohen - because the young singer is her "favourite".
Louis added to heat magazine: "I think Cheryl should put in more effort with Rebecca. Rebecca is the nicest, most grateful and talented girl. I love her the most out of all the contestants.
"I think she feels a little bit let down. I think Treyc did, as well. You can tell that Cher is Cheryl's favourite. They're going to think, 'Why isn't she looking after me?' You might have favourites, but you have to be seen to be giving equal attention."
