BGT judge David Walliams?
David Walliams has reportedly been offered £500,000 to join Amanda Holden as a judge on the next series of 'Britain's Got Talent'.
David Walliams has reportedly been offered £500,000 to join the 'Britain's Got Talent' judging panel.
The comic is said to be poised to sign a contract with the show after officially being approached by ITV1 bosses on Friday (12.11.10) , but is holding off until he finds out which other celebrity has been chosen to join current judge Amanda Holden on the panel.
It is believed the 'Little Britain' star is unsure about sharing the limelight with another comedian after hearing fellow funnymen Paul O'Grady and James Corden are also rumoured to be in the line-up to replace Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan on the talent show.
A friend told The Sun newspaper: "David is a huge fan of the show. It's a big offer, but he's holding out for more.
"He won't commit until he knows exactly who else is on board. David's unsure about being on the panel with another comedian. He wouldn't want to be in a battle for the limelight with another quick-fire joker."
Music mogul Simon Cowell is quitting the audition stages of the competition to focus on launching the US version of 'The X Factor' next year, while Piers Morgan has signed a multi-million pound deal to replace 'Larry King Live' on CNN.
