Live and Unsigned Competition

Winners play show at Edinburgh Corn Exchange and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

Live and Unsigned Competition

Ever happy to be instrumental (geddit?) in developing Scotland’s live music scene, The List has teamed up with Live and Unsigned, a competition aimed at finding the next great bands and artists from across the UK.

Enter now for your chance to play at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Sat 29 Jan, or the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Sat 5 Feb. The List will also be doing its part to showcase the best Scotland has to offer, where bands can upload their music for others to listen to, as well as find out a bit more about them. One especially lucky (and talented) group of musicians will be chosen by The List to write a diary, describing their path through all stages of the competition.

Upload your band’s details by mid-December to be our band in the competition.

Please supply:

1. Your music
Upload your two best songs using The List's Soundcloud dropbox button below. Please make sure your MP3s are properly titled and tagged (ie. your-bandname-your-song-title.mp3)

2. Your URLs
Go to our Soundcloud page and select 'Send Message'. These might include your official site, your blog, your Flickr page, your Facebook page etc. Basically anywhere that we can read some of your writing and look at your pictures. Things such as a Tour Diary or a Recording Diary are ideal.

Send us your songs
