Simon Cowell threatens to sack Louis Walsh
The feud between the warring 'X Factor' judges reached a new level last night (13.11.10) when Simon Cowell threatened to have Louis Walsh ''removed from the building'' after he slammed Katie Waissel's performance
Simon Cowell threatened to have Louis Walsh "removed from the building" on last night's (13.11.10) 'The X Factor'.
The feud between the warring judges reached a new extreme when the music mogul made the threat after the pair disagreed over controversial Katie Waissel's performance of Elton John's 'Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting).
Louis - who voted to save the 24-year-old hopeful in last Sunday's sing-off against Treyc Cohen - slammed her rendition as "awful" and "a throwaway performance".
Criticising mentor Cheryl Cole's poor song choice, he said: "Cheryl, Elton has 44 albums and you give her this silly song. It was a throwaway performance. It was awful. It was wrong."
After positive comments from both Cheryl and Dannii Minogue, Simon hit back at the Irish judge, saying it was the most entertaining performance of the night, before threatening to have him "removed from the building".
Simon said: "In terms of sheer entertainment value, my favourite performance of the night so far. Louis, you're going to get removed from the building if you keep on talking like that. You're talking complete and utter rubbish."
However, the 51-year-old music mogul wasn't the only judge to come to blows with Louis last night.
Dannii Minogue proved unimpressed by his comments about Paije Richardson, who, last week, Louis controversially described as "a little Lenny Henry".
After the 19-year-old singer's rendition of 'Crocodile Rock', Louis said: "It was like a bad karaoke. You're better than this. You're a soul man and it just didn't work."
To which Dannii responded by putting her hand over his mouth to prevent her fellow judge from slamming her act, and moving her hands in a chatterbox movement.
It is believed two contestants will be eliminated from the ITV1 show in a shock double eviction tonight (14.11.10).
