Freida Pinto asked to leave Dead Sea
Freida Pinto was asked to leave the Dead Sea because she was splashing water in people's faces
Freida Pinto was once kicked out of the Dead Sea.
The 26-year-old actress revealed she went swimming in the famous body of water - a giant salt lake between Jordan and Israel - on a day off from shooting her new movie 'Miral' but was told off by a lifeguard for splashing salt water into her fellow swimmers eyes.
She said: "When I was shooting 'Miral', my sister and her friend came down and we went to the Dead Sea. The lifeguard yelled at me because apparently I was splashing salt water into everybody's eyes. He asked me to get out of the water.
"I got kicked out of the Dead Sea."
Though being kicked out of the Dead Sea - which contains so much saline it is impossible to sink - was an upsetting experience for Freida, the swimming trip has made the actress vow to finally learn to swim properly.
She explained: "You can't really drown in it, but it scared the life out of me. I said, 'There's no way I can continue living like this.'
"It's just something I want to get over. I'm going to learn to swim. I'm so lousy at it."
