Wagner 'disgusted' at X Factor performance
The X Factor's Wagner Fiuza Carrilho has admitted he was ''disgusted'' with himself after his ''out of tune'' performance of 'Viva Las Vegas' last Saturday night (06.11.10)
Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho was "disgusted" at his 'X Factor' performance last Saturday (06.11.10).
The 54-year-old Brazilian - who sang a rendition of Elvis Presley classics 'Viva Las Vegas' and 'The Wonder Of You' for the American Anthems theme week - admitted he was so "out of tune" he would like to delete the performance from his memory.
Speaking on his video blog, wildcard Wagner said: "I am disgusted with my performance of 'Viva Las Vegas'. I was out of tune. I was confident that I was going to do it right. But fortunately when I sang the second part of the medley, 'The Wonder Of You', I got it right.
"I was pleased with 'The Wonder Of You', but I hated my performance of 'Viva Las Vegas'. I would like to delete it from YouTube and my memory."
However, Wagner was not the only contestant disappointed with his performance last weekend.
Cher Lloyd has also revealed she didn't do her best with her rendition of 'Empire State of Mind', particularly as the competition is now "getting fierce".
She explained: "I feel like I didn't do my very best last week, but there's no point kicking myself about it, it's time to move on and I've got a really good song this week.
"Life has to go on. It's a competition and people have to go out. It's getting fierce now and it's heating up, but you have just got to be prepared to fight your way through it."
