Olly Murs is backing Cher Lloyd in this year's 'The X Factor'.
The 'Please Don't Let Me Go' hitmaker - who came second to Joe McElderry in last year's competition - thinks the 17-year-old singer has "got everything", and entertains him week after week.
He explained: "She proved to everyone that she isn't just a rapper. Cher's got everything. She can perform, she can rap, she can sing, she can do anything. I want something else and Cher's given me that as a viewer. Every week, I feel, 'What is she going to do next?'
"Whereas you expect Rebecca, Aiden and Matt to stand there and sing. Being a performer myself, and dancing and liking to entertain people, Cher is entertaining me every week."
The 26-year-old hunk - who scored a number one with his debut single earlier in the year - admitted while he thinks controversial hopeful Katie Waissel is "fantastic", the public see through her.
Olly added to the Daily Record newspaper: "Every year on 'The X Factor', you have that one character who the public seem to hate. It is like a soap at the end of the day. Unfortunately, you can't fool the public and I think they can see through people.
"I really like Katie. She's fantastic. I think she has an amazing talent. And she's really turned it around in the last couple of weeks."
