Aiden Grimshaw's 'weird' video shoot
Aiden Grimshaw has admitted he found shooting the 'X Factor' charity single a ''weird'' experience, as it was difficult to act natural in front of the camera.
Aiden Grimshaw found shooting the 'X Factor' charity single video a "weird" experience.
The 18-year-old hopeful admitted while being reunited with all 16 of the ITV1 show's finalists for the shoot was fun, he found it difficult to appear natural in front of a camera.
He explained: "It's loads of fun, it's a bit weird though! People won't stop following us around sorting our hair and makeup every five seconds . anyone would think we're pop stars.
"It's weird, there is a massive room full of people and you're trying to sing and act natural as if you're the only one there, but really there's a big light in your face and cameras all up in your grill!"
The aspiring star - who has been criticised by judges for the intensity of his performances in the past - admitted the experience had put him off shooting music videos in the future, as he would rather go 'Blair Witch'-style and shoot it himself.
Aiden joked: "My videos might be like 'Blair Witch', I'll just film them myself! It'd be a lot less hassle! No, only joking, I'm loving it . the whole process is really exciting. It's a great experience of what it would be like to do your own video."
However, while the Blackpool-based teenager was positive about the experience, Nicolo Festa - who was the first contestant to be eliminated from the show - complained he had "done enough charity" and would be waving "good riddance" to 'The X Factor'.
He wrote on his twitter page: "I was at the x factor video shoot from 7 am till midnight...Done enough charity for this life and my next one. Btw I don't sing on the video,I just stupidly open my mouth... Good riddance! (sic)"
