Kat and Alfie's marriage mishap
'EastEnders' lovebirds Kat and Alfie Moon's upcoming wedding blessing is set to go wrong when they attempt to renew their vows in the Queen Vic.
Kat and Alfie Moon's marriage blessing will "go wrong" as they try and recreate their big day.
The 'EastEnders' lovebirds are set to renew their vows in their new home, the Queen Vic - where they married seven years ago - but actor Shane Richie has revealed their special day won't go according to plan after his hapless character becomes sidetracked while helping their Albert Square pals.
Shane said: "Alfie has this big idea they'll recreate their wedding in The Vic. But it all goes wrong as he's too busy being a knight in shining armour for Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack)."
Angry Kat (Jessie Wallace) takes revenge on her husband by throwing wedding cake in his face, but the volatile pair quickly make up and complete the service.
Jessie explained she took her five-year-old daughter Tallulah to watch the scene, and was amused by how impressed the youngster was.
She told tomorrow's (30.10.10) edition of The Buzz magazine: "She said, 'When are they going to start acting?' I took that as a compliment, like, 'Oh aren't they so natural?' But Shane took it the other way!"
The romantic ceremony scenes are to be aired on November 11 and 12.
