Wagner gets Rebecca's vote
'X Factor' hopeful Rebecca Ferguson has revealed she wants Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho to win the competition, as he ''makes her day''
'X Factor' hopeful Rebecca Ferguson wants Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho to win the competition.
The 24-year-old mother of two - who wowed judges with her rendition of 'Why Don't You Do Right?' on Saturday's (23.10.10) show - admitted if she were voting, she would want the kooky Brazilian to be crowned as winner.
She said: "If I was at home I know I couldn't wait to see Wagner every week. Every week it would be, 'Wagner's on!' He's fun.
"I know it's a singing competition but it's also an entertainment show, and that's what viewers want to see. You come in from work, knackered, switch the telly on, Wagner's going to make your day."
The famously shy hopeful - who is joined in her category by controversial contestants Cher Lloyd, 17, and Katie Waissel, 24 - also revealed she has learnt a lot from mentor Cheryl Cole, as she makes performing a more "comfortable" experience.
Rebecca added to X Magazine: "I'm learning a lot from her, but the thing about Cheryl is how down-to-earth she is. It's not like you're speaking to Cheryl Cole, it's like you're speaking to one of the girls. It isn't how I'd imagined.
"And it makes performing more comfortable. There's a nice vibe. On the results show, just before we walk on, she squeezes your hand, you can tell she's genuinely worried. It's a nice feeling."
