Brandy tops DWTS leaderboard
Brandy has topped this week's 'Dancing With The Stars' leaderboard for the second consecutive week after being praised by the judging panel for her tango with professional partner Maksim Chmerkovsky.
Brandy has topped the 'Dancing With The Stars' leaderboard for the second consecutive week.
The singer and her professional partner Maksim Chmerkovsky soared to the top of the scoreboard with their tango to Bonnie Tyler hit 'Holding Out for a Hero', receiving a total of 26 out of 30 from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.
While Brandy was praised by the judging panel, with Bruno Tonioli even likening the 31-year-old star to Tina Turner, 'Dirty Dancing' actress Jennifer Grey - who topped the leaderboard in weeks one and two - was told she was going "downhill".
After handing out the 50-year-old star and her partner Derek Hough their lowest ever score of 20 for their attempt at a paso doble, Jennifer was told she would be more successful in the competition if she took a simpler approach to learning complicated dance moves.
Carrie said: "You're like the chosen one, and you're going downhill. You need to calm down a little bit."
Meanwhile, Bristol Palin and her partner Mark Ballas were awarded their highest score of the competition after landing themselves in the bottom two for last week's performance, in which the politician's daughter donned a monkey costume.
Len joked: "Who are you? You've gone from a chimp to a champ."
