'Eastenders' hunk Scott Maslen and 'Countryfile' presenter Matt Baker each scored 35 points on 'Strictly Come Dancing' last night (23.10.10) to jointly top the leaderboard

Scott Maslen and Matt Baker jointly topped the 'Strictly Come Dancing' scoreboard last night (23.10.10) with 35 points out of 40.

'Eastenders' heartthrob Scott and partner Natalie Lowe wowed the judging panel with their "dynamic" tango, while TV presenter Matt's charleston with Aliona Vilani was praised as "effortless."

Judge Craig Revel Horwood told Scott: "I thought the performance was strong and dynamic, you made great use of the floor."

While Craig dubbed Matt's performance - for which he donned a fake moustache - "not perfect", he admitted he "loved it!"

Alesha Dixon added: "I loved the routine, it was effortlessly done."

80s comedienne Pamela Stephenson - who topped last Saturday's (16.10.10) leaderboard - continued her impressive streak, receiving 34 points for her tango.

Judge Len Goodman said: "You've done four dances now all to a high level, all consistently good."

However all eyes were on former MP Ann Widdecombe who soared across the stage on a harness.

The 63-year-old overcame her fear of heights for the dazzling display and received her personal highest score of the series with 21 points for her tango.

Despite Craig's description of her display as a "dancing hippo", Alesha enthused: "You're taking Strictly to a whole new level. I love that you're trying and I love you."

However, the judges' marks only make up 50 per cent of the overall scores, and the public vote will decide who leaves tonight (24.10.10).
