Chery Cole admits Katie Waissell is her ''big worry'' ahead of the live 'X Factor' show tonight (23.10.10) because she's had such a turbulent week
Chery Cole is worried for Katie Waissell ahead of the live 'X Factor' show tonight (23.10.10).
The judge is concerned the unpopular contestant could struggle with her performance after enduring another tough week, which saw her collapse during a trip to a Topshop store in central London on Wednesday evening (20.10.10).
Cheryl - who mentors the girls, Katie, Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson and Treyc Cohen - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Katie is my biggest worry. She's vulnerable and she's had a very tough week. The poor thing's been getting a lot of stick and she's not used to it, of course she's not. Everything got too much and she had a panic attack at the Topshop gig on Wednesday night. But I've spoken to her and she knows I'm there for her if she has any worries. She seems happier now and I'm sure she'll be fine tonight."
As well as being concerned for Katie this week, Cheryl is also suffering from nerves about her own performance on the programme on Sunday night (24.10.10).
The 27-year-old pop star will sing her new single 'Promise This' in front of fellow judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue and admits Simon has spent all week trying to put her off.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Tomorrow night's the night - it's time for the judge to be judged! I've got to get up in front of Simon, Louis and Dannii and perform and I'm nervous, big time!
"Simon's been ribbing me - 'cause that's what he does and that's how our relationship works - and trying to make me even more nervous. It will be the first time I've sung 'Promise This' live to an audience so that's scary. And to clarify, I am singing live tomorrow night - 100 per cent."
