Cheryl Cole ignores X Factor tensions
'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole admits she ignores her fellow judges if there has been tension between them during the show
Cheryl Cole ignores her fellow 'X Factor' judges if there's been tension during the show.
The Girls Aloud beauty - who is mentoring the Girls' category in this year's series of the reality show - admits she will avoid Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue if there has been "tension" during one of the live shows.
She told the Metro newspaper: "If there's been tension, then absolutely we do not hang out. If there's a good vibe and everyone's excited, I go over and say, 'Hi'."
There has been a notable rise in catty comments between the judges in recent weeks, with Louis recently lashing out at the 27-year-old beauty, saying, "It's not all about you, Cheryl!"
However, Cheryl thinks he's just being childish, and admits she doesn't understand his sense of humour.
She said: "Lou-Lou's just throwing his toys out the pram. I told him you know where my changing room is - say it to my face if there's a problem. I haven't got the time to say something back. Louis says thing and laughs and I'm thinking, 'That wasn't funny. Why are you laughing?' "
However, Cheryl is impressed with their co-judge, and new mum Dannii Minogue at how she manages work on the show whilst spending time with three-month-old Ethan.
She said: "I do not know how on Earth she does it. She's been great. We have show drama in here at rehearsals. I am getting my hair and make-up done, all the girl contestants are getting done up and Dannii's along there breastfeeding. Then she comes out and looks fabulous. I said, 'I don't know how you do it', and she said, 'What do you mean?' "
