Becky McDonald to buy nephew?
'Coronation Street's Becky McDonald's younger sister Kylie Turner offers to sell her son Max to her for £20,000
Kylie Turner is to offer her sister Becky McDonald the chance to buy her son for £20,000.
The 'Coronation Street' single mum - who is the younger sister of the reformed barmaid - understands how desperate Becky (Katherine Kelly) and her husband Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) are to become parents, she offers to sell her young son Max for the enormous sum.
Becky and Steve have been looking after the tot since Kylie (Paula Lane) dumped him on them while she jetted off on holiday.
But as she returns with a new boyfriend in tow, and a plan to take Max back to Cyrus with her, Becky is determined the youngster should stay with them and starts bargaining with her sibling.
Katherine explained to Inside Soap magazine: "Steve rings Kylie to persuade her to leave Max with them while she gets settled, and then return to get him when she's ready. Kylie has a different suggestion - they can keep Max if they pay her £20,000.
"She gets straight down to bargaining - it makes total sense to her. Becky and Steve can't afford 20 grand, but she can't let this go. It's not that Becky has an overwhelming desire to be Max's mum, she just wants her nephew to be safe and cared for. And with his mother living it up in Ayia Napa, she knows full well that it won't happen. He'll be left alone to fend for himself for hours - it's history repeating."
