One Direction fight for frontman role
'The X Factor' group One Direction have reportedly been rowing over who should be the band's frontman
'The X Factor' group One Direction have been arguing about who should front the group.
The boy band - who were assembled by show head Simon Cowell at the Bootcamp stage of the show - reportedly fell out when it came to each assuming a role within the group, but were soon kicked into touch by the show's producers.
Band member Liam Payne's mother Karen said: "Because they all entered the competition as solo singers, they all wanted to be the front man, so there was controversy. But since they went to London
and had input from people like the producers saying, 'You'll do this' and 'You'll do that', everybody has got on well."
Liam - who is joined in the band by singers Louis Tomlinson, Zain Malik, Harry Styles and Niall Horan - is reportedly impressing the rest of band with his cooking skills, while they all live in the same house between performances on 'The X Factor'.
Karen added to New! magazine: "He's always cooking his own specialities. He loves to do chicken breasts with different spices on. He's always done his own ironing. He'll make someone a good husband!"
