Paije Richardson grieves for grandmother

Paije Richardson has pulled out of 'X Factor' rehearsals after his grandmother died.
The devastated 19-year-old singer immediately left the show to return home to Reading after hearing the news yesterday (19.10.10) and there are now fears he will miss this Saturday's (23.10.10) show or be forced to withdraw from the competition altogether.
A show source said: "Paije was devastated but he's such a lovely lad he kept saying he was sorry and that he had to go. We just said, 'Of course you have to go' and made arrangements for him to be with his relatives.
"It all happened so quickly. All we know is that he was very upset and needed to be at home."
After failing to be chosen as one of mentor Dannii Minogue's final three, cinema usher Paije was given a second chance when he was picked as her wildcard contestant for the first live show.
The singer - who harbours dreams of becoming a male version of Amy Winehouse - has impressed judges and the public and sailed through eliminations after his live performances of 'Killing Me Softly' on the first show and Alicia Keys' ballad 'If I Ain't Got You' last Saturday (16.10.10).
