Emmerdale to air four trial results
Four different outcomes have been filmed for the conclusion of Ryan Lamb's trial in 'Emmerdale', and will be aired online from Thursday (21.10.10).
'Emmerdale' bosses have filmed four different outcomes for next week's (26.10.10) trial conclusion.
Ryan Lamb (James Sutton) has been accused of the murder of his estranged father Mark Wylde (Maxwell Caulfield) and fans of the ITV1 soap are being offered the opportunity to preview the different endings before the episode airs.
Mark's wife Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) murdered her cheating husband before she and son Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) framed Ryan. Now bosses have revealed the four endings will include Ryan being found guilty of murdering Mark, Ryan revealed as innocent, Natasha confessing to the murder and Ryan celebrating with his mother Faye (Kim Thomson) and half sister Maisie (Alice Coulthard).
Series Producer Gavin Blyth said "The alternative endings we filmed earlier this year for Mark Wylde's murder proved hugely popular and it seemed fitting to treat viewers to a similar experience for the culmination of the story. Hopefully the extra content will enhance their enjoyment of the episode, when Ryan learns his fate."
Amanda Donohoe has recently revealed she believes her character could come clean to save Nathan when he is kidnapped after he provides false testimony at the trial.
Amanda said: "Her motives for not confessing are, and always have been, to protect her family so if that came into question maybe she would."
