Kara Tointon 'flustered' by Strictly hunk
Kara Tointon admits she got ''a bit flustered'' when she first met her hunky 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner Artem Chigvintsev
Kara Tointon got "a bit flustered" when she met her hunky 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner.
The former 'EastEnders' actress thinks she's the "luckiest contestant" to be paired with hunky Artem Chigvintsev, and hasn't ruled out the possibility of a romance.
She said: "On the first show, he did this glide over to me and it left me a bit flustered, I must admit. I did think I was the luckiest contestant to get Artem.
"He's gorgeous in every way and his accent is pretty nice - he has a lovely voice to go with it. I couldn't really have asked for more.
"But It's a little bit early for all that [romance]. I mean, we're spending so much time together but we've only known each other for a month, so it's early days yet, but we are getting on very well. It's quite a tease to end up with him, isn't it? But we are having a nice time, that's all I'll say."
Kara also admits she was completely starstruck when she first met Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams.
She added: "I really want to ask her for her autograph but I didn't want her to feel weird."
Michelle was placed in the bottom two last night (17.10.10), and narrowly missed out on being booted off the show.
While she loves her time on the show, the singer admits her friend Beyonce Knowles tried to persuade her to pull out.
Michelle explained: "She said: 'Girl, are you really serious? To be judged in front of millions of people, they're going to see mistakes, you're going to be exposed.'
"'I'm like, that is very true, but it's no different to when you're putting out an album - not everyone's going to love it, but you hope you connect with the public and they'll go out and buy it.' "
