Aiden Grimshaw throws X Factor strop?
'X Factor' hopeful Aiden Grimshaw is reportedly being monitored by show bosses after throwing a ''huge strop'' and crying when rehearsals did not go well.
'X Factor' hopeful Aiden Grimshaw stunned show bosses when he threw a "huge strop" during rehearsals.
The 18-year-old singer - whose performance of John Lennon's 'Jealous Guy' was criticised by the judges on Saturday's (16.10.10) show - apparently struggled to get to grips with the track and failed to keep his emotions in check.
A source said: "He threw a huge strop by the piano and kicked a bin across the room, sending rubbish flying everywhere. He then went to pick something up to throw it but managed to stop himself."
Aiden then broke down in tears and apologised, but his outburst has made programme chiefs decide to monitor his mental state to ensure he is coping with the pressure of the show.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He is lovely but needs to relax a bit more. We will be keeping an eye on him to make sure he's OK. The problem is he's a perfectionist and takes things to heart.
"It's no surprise he messed up Saturday in hindsight."
After his performance on Saturday, judge Cheryl Cole told him it was a "bit shaky", while Simon Cowell admitted he thinks the teenage hopeful can be better.
He told him: "There were too many times it went out of control. Your nerves got the better of you. I think you are potentially brilliant, we must find a song you can control more."
Aiden agreed with the negative comments, admitting: "I was a bit rubbish."
