Konnie Huq: X Factor makes me cry
'The Xtra Factor' present Konnie Huq admits she can't stop crying whilst filming backstage scenes fo the reality show, because it is so emotionally-charged
Konnie Huq can't stop crying on 'The X Factor'.
The TV host - who is presenting the reality show's spin-off programme 'The Xtra Factor' - admits she has found the past few weeks emotionally draining as she films backstage.
She said: "When Cheryl was judging the girls' house, it was literally a cry-fest. There could not have been more crying. I couldn't stop my eyes watering because when I see someone in tears it makes me want to cry, and they were all so nice."
Whilst finding parts of the series emotionally-charged, Konnie likes judge Louis Walsh's new "feisty" attitude.
She said: "Louis has got quite feisty, but I love that. I think because he has the worst group it has made him more feisty. Having said that, he was jumping for joy when he was the only judge not to have anyone in the bottom three last week."
Konnie has also denied there is any rivalry between female judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, who she claims "really get on".
She said: "I've been looking at their body language and the way they are with each other, and they really seem to get on. Dannii's busy with her baby and Cheryl has been popping in. When you see her talking about Dannii's baby, you can see that she would be an amazing mother herself. But they are always going to be pitted against each other for clothes and hairstyles.
"All the judges have a professional rivalry. They all want their own category to win, but then they all get on with it like real colleagues."
