Barbara Windsor is to get a "comedy roasting".
The former 'EastEnders' actress has agreed to star in Channel 4's 'A Comedy Roast' and is now preparing for the barrage of jokes, insults and occasional heartfelt praise that will be heading her way from host Jimmy Carr.
As well as Jimmy, Barbara - best-known for her role as Peggy Mitchell in the BBC soap - will also be at the mercy of her famous friends when she records her episode later this month.
Other stars to have appeared on the show include Sharon Osbourne, Bruce Forsyth and Chris Tarrant.
It was recently revealed Davina McCall is to make her return to Channel 4 with her own "comedy roasting" after she hosted the last ever 'Big Brother' final in September.
She said: "I'm honoured and terrified at the thought of being roasted - I think I'm going to have the night of my life and laugh lots at my own expense - I can't wait!"
Justin Gorman, Channel 4's head of entertainment, said: "We're thrilled that Davina is taking part, it will be a night to remember."
