Goldie will defend his Red Bull Music Academy Culture Clash champion title in London on Thursday (14.10.10).
Drum and Bass forefather Goldie will bring his Metalheadz label to defend his Culture Clash title as part of the Red Bull Music Academy, where his soundsystem will take on three others representing different areas of bass-heavy music.
The DJ and actor said he will not be giving up his title easily, however, and is prepared for a fight.
He said: "It's not about what you know it's about what you don't know - if you're gonna pull out a soul record, I'm gonna pull out a better soul record.
People are not ready for us. I'll iron you out, you give me five hours with you and I'll keep ironing until you're flat.
"I'm like that kid who won't stop fighting, who keeps bloodying his nose then coming back."
Goldie's Metalheadz soundsystem will go head to head with three other teams over five rounds.
A Dubstep soundsystem will be presided over by Skream and Benga, while Soul Jazz will play a mix of vintage funk, deep soul, rocksteady and dancehall on their soundsystem. The fourth players will be Channel One Soundsystem, spinning original roots reggae.
The winner of the evening will be decided by the crowd, who vote with their feet - the soundsystem with the most dancers will be declared winner.
Goldie warns however, he has been gathering some special records for the evening as a "precaution".
He added: "I took out two suitcases in my house, that I can't carry down my stairs, opened my lid up in my loft, took a handful of them, went downstairs and put them on. And, pfft, forget it. Things that I can't remember who done it, but they're unbelievable - they're blue note dub plates that are just ridiculous."
The Culture Clash will take place at London's Roundhouse venue, for more information please visit www.redbullmusicacademy.com.
