Bruce Forsyth praises Strictly stars
Bruce Forsyth thinks this year's 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestants are better than ever and believes Ann Widdecombe has boosted the show
Bruce Forsyth thinks Ann Widdecombe has made 'Strictly Come Dancing' a better show.
The programme's presenter believes this year's celebrity dance contest is better than ever because there is a much stronger line up.
He said: "We have got a much better line-up of people so I'm sure the series is going to do well.
"This year they are better characters, interesting people - Ann Widdecombe alone is absolutely wonderful."
Though Kara Tointon and her partner Artem Chigvintsev are current favourites to win this year's show, Bruce believes anyone could take the title.
He added: "There are some great dancers. It is amazing how much they can improve after three weeks of training.
"Everyone should be able to do it. Dancing is a natural thing - if you can walk you can dance. Mind you, some people can't even walk properly!"
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Australian singer Peter Andre will debut his new single 'Defender' on this Saturday's (16.10.10) show.
Peter said: "I am so honoured to be performing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' - I love the show so much.
"It seems an ideal show for the first performance of my new single, 'Defender', especially as the video is based around a very complex and testing dance routine. It'll be great to première it in front of some professional dancers!"
