Nicolo and F.Y.D. given X Factor boot

Nicolo Festa and F.Y.D. were voted off 'The X Factor' last night (10.10.10) in the ITV1 show's first double elimination.
Italian Nicolo, 21, was the first to be booted off the show after polling the lowest number of public votes.
Boy band F.Y.D. and Katie Waissel, 24 - who was bookies favourite to be thrown off the programme - then took part in a sing-off, before the judges voted on who they wanted to save.
After their performances, the panel members Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole voted to send the boys home, while their mentor Simon Cowell tried to save them.
Simon - who was impressed by their rendition of Rihanna's 'Don't Stop The Music' - told them: "You've got to pick yourself up, use the exposure well and show you've got what it takes - I believe in you guys."
Katie - who performed 'Don't Let Me Down' by The Beatles - looked thrilled to have been given a second chance after her position on 'The X Factor' sparked online protests over the past week.
Her mentor Cheryl chose to put her through to the live shows, at the expense of Zimbabwean teenager Gamu Nhengu, who was a favourite with fans of the show.
Disappointed Nicolo, 21 - who claimed he wanted to be a "legend" - admitted he felt "like c**p" after being told he had to leave the show.
The star-studded audience - which included former Spice Girl Emma Bunton and partner Jade Jones, former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and 'Heroes' star Hayden Panettiere - were also treated to performances by Usher and last year's 'The X Factor' winner Joe McElderry.
Joe received a standing ovation from the judges after singing his new single 'Ambitions'.
