Gavin Henson's body issues
Rugby ace Gavin Henson is concerned his mind and body will not be ''in sync'' for tonight's 'Strictly Come Dancing' performance
Gavin Henson is worried his head and body are not in sync.
The Welsh rugby ace - who is preparing to perform a Latin routine on tonight's 'Strictly Come Dancing' with professional partner Katya Virshilas - has admitted he is struggling to get to grips with the saucy dance.
He told BBC One's spin-off show 'It Takes Two': "If my body can get in sync with my mind, I'll dance it great."
However, Katya has assured viewers that while Gavin may be unsure about his capabilities, she thinks it will be the "sexiest salsa" ever seen on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The sportsman's lack of confidence is a change in attitude from last week, when he reportedly annoyed fellow competitors - including former 'EastEnders' beauty Kara Tointon and current star Scott Maslen - by offering them dancing tips.
After receiving rave reviews from the judging panel for his waltz, Gavin was said to have caused tension by suggesting his good looks gave him a head start.
An insider explained: "Like any sportsman, Gavin is very competitive and after getting praise from the judges it's gone to his head. He thinks he's a pro now. He's been watching the others rehearse and been judging them and trying to give them tips.
"And he even cheekily told one girl, 'Dancing is only half the battle. If you look like me you have already won lots of votes.' "
