Storm Lee studies Simon Cowell
'The X Factor' contestant Storm Lee admits he is reading Simon Cowell's autobiography in a bid to get the music mogul onside
Storm Lee is reading Simon Cowell's autobiography in an attempt to get him onside.
The eccentric 'X Factor' contestant - who made it through to Louis Walsh's final three in the over 28s category - admits he is desperately trying to make the music mogul warm to him, by searching out common interests between them in his book 'I Don't Mean To Be Rude, But.'.
Storm told The Sun newspaper: "His autobiography is my bedside reading because I want to know what we have in common.
"We're probably very similar. I have a real commitment to telling the truth and being myself and not caring what people think. I'll win him over by being really committed to being me."
Storm has been a controversial choice to be put through to the finals, with Simon complaining he found him annoying.
However, Louis eventually chose Storm after admitting he feared it was the hopeful's last shot at fame.
Describing his mentor Louis, Storm said: "He's the real deal, he seems to really care."
