Simon Cowell set for X Factor win?
Sinitta admits she thinks her ex-boyfriend and long-term pal Simon Cowell will win 'The X Factor' with one of his acts this year
Sinitta thinks Simon Cowell can win 'The X Factor' this year.
The former pop star - who helps her ex-boyfriend and long-term pal mentor his acts - is confident one of his three groups, boy band One Direction, girl group Belle Amie and FYD, could take the crown and stop Cheryl Cole from winning three years in a row.
Sinitta said: "It would be amazing if he could win. It would be brilliant for him because Cheryl is monopolising the trophy year after year."
Sinitta also insists Simon isn't disappointed about being given the groups, although she isn't sure if the other judges Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue are unhappy Cheryl was given the girls category - which is widely regarded as the strongest group.
She added to Star magazine: "I haven't spoken to Louis or Dannii about it. Dannii seemed really happy - the boys are a really strong category. I think it is true that Louis and Simon have the trickiest categories. It is a bit jammy for Tweedy Pie, Cheryl, to have landed those amazing girls.
"Simon doesn't have a say in it. If he did, he would probably win every year - he would give himself the jammy doughnut. You can judge early on who is amazing. Like this year the girls are especially strong."
Cheryl chose Katie Waissel, Rebecca Ferguson and Cher Lloyd to be her final three acts, despite Katie and Cher struggling in their final auditions during the judges' houses stage.
