Audrina Patridge 'DWTS judges too harsh'
'Dancing With The Stars' contestant Audrina Patridge has slammed judge Bruno Tonioli for making ''brutal'' comments to singer Michael Bolton, who was eliminated from the show on Wednesday night (29.09.10)
Audrina Patridge has slammed 'Dancing With The Stars' judges for being too harsh.
The former 'The Hills' star - who is partnered with Tony Dovolani in the ABC series - believes judge Bruno Tonioli should apologise for the "brutal" comments he made about singer Michael Bolton, who was voted off the US show on Wednesday night (29.09.10).
Audrina told US magazine: "It definitely was really brutal, and Michael was really bummed out after that. I think he should say something. Although, he is a judge, and that's his job to give his opinion and be brutally honest. If he was too nice, it wouldn't be an interesting show."
However, 'Dancing With The Stars' producers have backed the sharp-tongued judge.
A statement said: "We don't feel Bruno should be expected to apologise for doing his job."
Michael - who was paired with Chelsie Hightower in the dancing competition - found himself in the firing line when he received the lowest score from the judges of just 12.
Bruno told him: "I think this is probably the worst jive in 11 seasons. You should have kept the bone and gone back into the dog house."
