Davina McCall 'to get roasted'
TV presenter Davina McCall is to return to Channel 4 with a ''comedy roasting'' and an evening of jokes, insults and occasional heartfelt praise from a line-up of friends and colleagues.
Davina McCall is set to mark her return to Channel 4 with a "comedy roasting".
The TV presenter - who hosted the last ever 'Big Brother' final in September - is preparing for the barrage of jokes, insults and occasional heartfelt praise that will be heading her way from host Jimmy Carr on 'Davina McCall: A Comedy Roast'.
She said: "I'm honoured and terrified at the thought of being roasted - I think I'm going to have the night of my life and laugh lots at my own expense - I can't wait!"
Appearing opposite Davina in the comedy event will be the likes of 'The X Factor' presenter Dermot O'Leary and BBC Radio One hosts Chris Moyles and Fearne Cotton, who will all spend the evening laying into and praising the star's work.
Additionally, a whole host of former 'Big Brother' contestants - including Brian Belo, Nikki Graeme and Brian Dowling - will also be turning out to trade comedic insults and praise with Davina.
Justin Gorman, Channel 4's head of entertainment, said: "We're thrilled that Davina is taking part, it will be a night to remember."
'Davina McCall: A Comedy Roast' is to be shown on October 15th at 9pm on Channel 4.
