Louis Walsh wants Sharon back
Louis Walsh has delivered a sensational snub to fellow 'X Factor' judge Dannii Minogue by revealing he wants Sharon Osbourne back on the show.
Louis Walsh wants Sharon Osbourne to return to 'The X Factor'.
The Irish pop manager - who enlisted Sharon to help him pick his final acts at the judge's house auditions at Adare Castle, in Limerick, Ireland - has made a plea to 'X Factor' bosses to reinstall her on the TV talent show, which she quit in 2008 after a string of rows with then-new judge Dannii Minogue.
He said: "I think we're going to have the best judges' home. She's going to come in really fresh, very funny, very opinionated and she's bound to cry. What more do you want from a judge?"
Then taking a cruel swipe at Dannii - who missed the first two audition stages to give birth and care for her new baby Ethan - Louis claimed the series hadn't missed her.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "Dannii who? Dannii's been in Australia, we haven't seen her.
"Sharon is a friend of mine, Dannii is an acquaintance. Sharon's the best judge, what you see is what you get.
"She'll be honest with me, she'll put me in my place. She's not boring, she's not predictable like the judges on other shows, like those BBC shows for older people.
"I'd love Sharon to come back to 'The X Factor'."
Louis is also disappointed producers have given him the Over-28s to mentor, the category he believes to be the weakest.
He said: "I wanted the boys or the groups. I think by giving me the worst category it's a compliment because they thought I could do the most with them.
"If Dannii or Cheryl had got them, they'd have run away back to Australia or wherever they're from."
