'Dirty Dancing' actress Jennifer Grey and her professional partner Derek Hough have topped the 'Dancing With The Stars' scoreboard for the second consecutive week.

Jennifer Grey has topped the 'Dancing With The Stars' leaderboard for the second week running.

The 50-year-old actress - who shot to fame starring alongside Patrick Swayze in 1987 cult film 'Dirty Dancing' - and her professional partner Derek Hough soared to the top of the scoresheet with a mark of 24 from the judges of the US show, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

After wowing audiences in a daring gold cutaway dress, the star performed an energetic jive to 'Shake It' by Metro Station.

Carrie Ann said: "You're kind of like this sexy, hot energising bionic bunny out there. Your energy never let up."

Meanwhile, Len- who is also head judge on British show 'Strictly Come Dancing' - praised the couple for their "fabulous" choreography.

He enthused: "There was nothing 'grey' about it. It was bright, it was colourful, a full-on fabulous job."

Elsewhere, former 'The Hills' actress Audrina Patridge and her professional partner Tony Dovolani were also praised by the judges for their performance, which was said to be "a huge improvement from last week" and earned the pair second place on the leaderboard with a score of 23.

Grammy Award-winning singer Michael Bolton - who is paired with Chelsie Hightower - is now in the firing line for elimination later in the week after receiving the lowest score of just 12.

The 'When a Man Loves a Woman' hitmaker was told by Bruno: "I think this is probably the worst jive in 11 seasons. . You should have kept the bone and gone back into the dog house."
