Gavin Henson can't dance
Gavin Henson is struggling to get to grips with the routines as he prepares for 'Strictly Come Dancing', according to his friend Michelle Mone.
Gavin Henson "isn't a great dancer".
The Welsh rugby ace is competing on this year's 'Strictly Come Dancing' but is struggling with some of the more complex moves and routines, according to his friend, Ultimo lingerie boss Michelle Mone.
But the designer - who grew close to the 28-year-old sportsman when they appeared on ITV1's challenge show '71 Degrees North' together - insists his determination more than makes up for his lack of natural dancing talent and she believes he could even win the competition.
She said: "He's not a great dancer at the moment, but he's so determined. I think he could be the winner, honestly. And I think the public will grow to love him, just as we all grew to love him."
The 38-year-old businesswoman also revealed the freezing conditions Gavin faced in the Arctic for '71 Degrees North' made him face up to his true feelings about ex-fiancee Charlotte Church - with whom he has two children, Ruby, three, and 20-month-old Dexter.
She added to new! magazine: "I absolutely think that he did not want the split to ever happen and never thought it would ever happen. Gavin is so not what the public think of him. He's an incredible father and talks about the kids constantly."
